Jeep & 4WD Rental Prices
Our pricing is simple: the same rates apply to every vehicle in the fleet, and both beach driving permits are already included. Here’s the full rate card.
Rental Rates
- Weekly rental — $1,338 flat for the week. Any 4x4 in the fleet, same price.
- 3–6 day rental — $200 per day. Three days runs $600; six days runs $1,200.
- 2-day rental — $225 per day. $450 total.
- 1-day rental — $300. One-day rentals are non-refundable, and reservations for them open 2 days before your pickup date.
Every Rate Includes
- Both beach driving permits — Corolla and the Cape Hatteras ORV permit — already on the vehicle
- Recovery gear in every rental
- Free parking for your own car at our Kill Devil Hills lot while you’re out
- Dogs of all sizes ride free — no pet fees
- Debit card renters accepted
- Coolers, beach chairs, and fishing rod racks available for your trip
Booking for a Group or Multiple Vehicles
Because the weekly rate is a flat $1,338 for any vehicle, pricing out two or three 4x4s for the same week is easy — no tiered upcharges, no per-model math. If your group needs more seats in fewer vehicles, our 8-passenger SUVs put the whole family in one truck. Tell us your dates and how many seats you need, and we’ll set up the right combination.
Cancellation Policy
Cancel seven or more days before your pickup date for a full refund. Cancellations inside seven days are subject to a $225 fee. For dangerous weather, full refunds are issued on multi-day rentals — just contact us. One-day rentals are non-refundable.
Hours and How to Book
We’re open year-round, 7 days a week, 7 AM to 8 PM for reservation holders. Booking works like this: pick your dates, email proof of full-coverage personal auto insurance to bret@beach4x4.com, then pick up at our lot at 2101 Colington Rd in Kill Devil Hills. Your car parks free with us while you’re on the sand.
Not sure which vehicle fits your trip? Compare the Jeep Wrangler, the Jeep Gladiator, and our 8-passenger 4x4 SUVs — or get in touch and we’ll point you to the right one. If it’s your first time driving on sand, read our beach driving tips before you go.
